Places to visit around The Libra Centre.

The Libra Centre is located in Penmaenmawr and is, in my view, the finest place to be. It is situated between the mountains and the sea so there is something for everyone.

The Sea
If you visit Penmaenmawr in April you could also get the opportunity to see Dolphins leaping from the sea on their way out to the Menai straights, this is absolutely fantastic, to see them in their natural habitat. There is the sailing club and the beach has won the Blue Flag award, with beach huts and cafe it is perfect to relax and enjoy the great sandy beach. The views out to Puffin Island and the Great Orme are awe inspiring and we get the most brilliant sunsets.

The Mountains
If it is views you want and then the mountains will certainly not disappoint and there are numerous walks to suit all abilities. But it is in the mountains where you can find the most uplifting spiritual connection because of the perlethera of sacred sites. It is no wonder that people visit this area from all over the UK and further afield. It is true there are no stones as grand as Stone Henge or Avebury but when it comes to a spiritual connection we can leave those sites standing, they are dead in comparison to the headland of Penmaenmawr.

Red farm ring. Not so grand as the Druids circle but it is nevertheless very interesting and it's on the way.

Maen Crwn. An exceptional standing stone, lean gently against both sides to notice the difference in energy.

The Five Stone Ring. This is considered the atrium of the Druids Circle. I suggest that you stop here a while and prepare yourself for entrance into the Druid Circle.

The Druids Circle. This is the most famous circle around here and one you will not want to miss. This ring of around 30 stones stands on the headland of Penmaenmawr above the Libra Centre, close to a prehistoric trackway. Following on from the Five Stone Ring where you can see the stones on the horizon, cross a couple of streams and up the steps cut into the rock. Enter through the portalled entrance after asking permission, spiral your way to the center, lay down and receive the vision of the stones from long ago. You will now know the story of the Stone the connection with Mabon will be complete and you will have had the experience of a lifetime.
