Today I think I should talk about Them.
Who are They? I don’t know.
Where are They? I don’t know.
What do They do? I do not know.
What I do know is that They are, They are, and really that is all we need to know about Them.
In every religion They are mentioned They are called by different names but They are.
There are numerous accounts about Them in terms who They are, where They are and what They do. Even so called new science has got into the act of trying to prove or at least acknowledge Them. Trouble is they all disagree with each other as to the true nature of Them. Also great complicated tomes have been written about the different realms or planes of existence where They reside and what They do. There have been books purporting to be channelled directly by Them. How wonderful it is that with direct contact with Them the world will be a much better place. Well is it?
So I have read most of these sources for information about Them and the more I study the available literature be it religious texts, new age, new science books and channelled material. The more I know I do not know.
Along time ago at the start of the Manifesting or the Secret, Co-creating fad, which was not new then, it had been around even before me with Al Koran ‘Bring out the Magic of you Mind’ or Norman Vincent Peale ‘The power of positive thinking’ showing there is nothing new under the Sun however, I thought I would give it go and see what happens, that has been my life long motto
‘Give it a go and then you will know’
I don’t want to tell you the trouble that has got me into. So, what to wish for, what did I desire? Well I could not think of anything, I was relatively content and asking for more to be manifested from thin air seemed a bit wrong, not quite right somehow. So I said what if I wanted what They wanted. That was a massive turning point for me, I cannot describe it but something happened in that instant. I want to say that They have been with me ever since, but no I suspect They have been with me all along, I just started to realise it then, at that moment.
Now what does that mean or what has it meant to me? Well, just acknowledging Them is the Secret and allowing Them to work through me has brought a whole new vision of life for me.
But I know not who They are, what They are or what They do. I only know I do not need to know, maybe my several trillion brain cells are not capable of knowing or understanding. Several years ago in my headstrong youth I was employed and though I respected my boss as being a clever and capable person, there where some aspects of the work that I did not see as being sensible. So I told him, I was a hard worker and he knew it so he listened and then said ‘That is because you do not know the bigger picture.’ That seemed reasonable so I let him get on with it and the firm continued to prosper and provide me with a wage. And I think that is the same with Them. I think They know what They are doing, They know the bigger picture so I do not have to.
What I gather is that They do not need praise or worship, They do not need you to even acknowledge Them, though it will help, both you and Them.
I also know that praying to them is not very effective, They know the bigger picture, They seem to be incredibly more intelligent and capable so do we expect Them to change there plans for you. What I will say is if what you want is the same as what They want then you will be assisted in that, no matter what you do, pray, prostrate yourself, offer to lead a better life, it matters not, if it is what They want then They will be there for you.
Now the other side is this, if what you want is not what They want then you are on your own and no amount of praying or supplication will make a difference. But it would seem that They will not stop you, even if it is heinous, gruel and barbaric, They will not intervene it seems that human choice is sacrosanct and They have a different view of life, death and suffering as I guess you can tell from looking at the world around you. They know the bigger picture.
Now how do we know if what you want is the same as what they want. Well you can try it and if it seems to be going easier that you thought then you are on the right path. But for me I feel that They put ideas in my head. Now don’t get me wrong I do not mean blindly following the voices in your head, no. Everything you do, you are responsible for and you must consider your own actions as your own choices, but if you suddenly get an idea and you think it may be a good idea then check it out, it may have come from Them and you may be working for a better world.
