THE MABON STONE.
In a specially excavated room in the basement of The Libra Centre there stands a Stone. Not a very distinguished looking piece of rock, not overly large or unusually coloured but something about it goes without words without questions or cynicism. There it stands and there it is, the Stone just is. Many have experienced first hand the energies emanating from the Stone in this very special place. No one has yet failed to sense something from visiting The Libra Centre's hidden heart.
For 5 years now The Libra Centre's team have been working with the energies of the Stone, discovering the meaning and purpose of this special place. The team worked with dedication and fervour, meditating daily and often sleeping within its stone walls and upon its stone floor.
We now wish to share with you the fruits of our labours. We can impart to you the results of communications and impressions received. The consequences of research and study, the precipitates of rational and logical reasoning. These we lay bare before you for your judgement and invite you to experience for yourself the power of the Stone.
The first piece of the puzzle was the revelation of a name, a name at that time unknown to the recipients of this initial disclosure. The name was given in meditation in the presence of the Stone as an answer to a direct question, that name was Mabon.

Associated by the Romans to Apollo, Mabon is in fact the dark sun. Mabon is the hidden light which lies deep within the heart of every man and woman. His light is glimpse but briefly during times of intense spiritual experience.
The many unusual circumstances which led to the discovery of the Stone, the pieces which had to fall in place at precisely the right time, the right place and the right people, whispers of the magic of the Stone. The revelations which come from the Stone are mostly personal for the individual sitting in meditation by the Stone. However, when a group sits, while still personal revelations come through, once they are relayed a common theme is found and this adds greatly to the experience. Many speak of visions which mirror the stories told of Mabon but relayed in a personal way, these without knowledge of the Mabon myths. These individual journeys help us to understand the deeper meanings of the myths and help us apply the wisdom to our lives.
The most promising method of accessing the energies of the Stone is a visualisation journey deep within the Earth. Travel down a shaft beneath the Stone deep into your psyche, at the bottom there is a great cavern in which sits Mabon quite and alone. Sometimes a pathetic child, sometimes a towering warrior, always to be treated with respect. Open your heart to this figure for he is your secret heart, your hidden strength, your deepest most ancient self.
Contacting Mabon in this way can open you up to endless possibilities, it brings you strength and power you never felt before. It grants you access to wisdom most profound and may even give your life a new meaning, one based not on individual needs and wants but one based on sharing an co-operation.
The Stone in our basement represents the inner being of us all and tells us we are all united. Whatever you do, feel or say, affects the rest of us who share the same body, this magnificent Earth. We must now realise that the Earth is alive and every rock, every microbe, every plant, every bird and every animal are one and the same. If humanity is different it is only in the measure of responsibility that is incumbent upon us.
