Why start with philosophy? It is because at the beginning of any new venture, quest or journey it is vital to procure some form of vehicle to transport us. This vehicle is a personal philosophy. It stands as a framework from which it is possible to stay focused. It will create a source of help and guidance, making us stay on the path upon which we have set. When there are decisions to be made it is possible to consult our philosophy and weigh the value of our choices. When we come to a cross roads, our philosophy will show the way, by simply referring back to it often we can see immediately where our course should remain.
So I ask that you examine your own philosophy and if you do not yet possess one, then acquiring one should be your first concern. Your philosophy is personal to you and I only offer our philosophy as an example. Your philosophy should encapsulate your believes, your goals, your standards., your life view.
Our philosophy is not complicated or long winded it is simple and straightforward, this is how it should be. Long winded, drawn out philosophical arguments are usually nothing more than mental games. We believe it should not be that way, in fact we feel that the simpler a thing can be said the close to the truth it usually is. Our philosophy is actually nothing more than a framework within which we work and consists of four pithy abstracts which are as follows.
Abstract 1. The Advancement of Spiritual Science.
When we look around us, everywhere we see the application of laws, these laws are fundamental verities or basic truths; 'for every action there is an equal and opposite re-action', 'energy equals mass times the speed of light squared', there are many many more. One of these laws was termed by the philosopher Hermes Trismegistus as 'As above, so below. As within so without' This tells us that science and spirituality are linked, in that discerning one, we can discern the other. This process works both ways, whilst the scientists of today are discovering things which the ancient mystics already knew, present day mystics are discovering the verities that lie behind the veil of ceremony and initiation. Simple and effective methods are being brought out into the open, that are bringing us closer to a scientific explanation of the feats of mystics and seer, making these things possible to all who understand. Which brings us to the next abstract.
Abstract 2. The Fulfilment of Human Potential.
It is felt by many that mankind is not living up to its full potential, and that we are slowly evolving towards some form of undisclosed perfection. On a personal level also, many people are not fulfilling there true potential, many are living well below par, either because they do not know what their potential is, or they do not know how to achieve it. The rewards of undertaking this quest are great indeed, in fact you are rewarded at every step of the way. The Libra Centre is conscious of this growth process and wishes to guide and assist you along the way without taking away your control.
This is felt by The Libra Centre to be a sacred duty and a vital step in assisting the creation of a better more spiritually orientated world. Which brings us to the next abstract.
Abstract 3. Harmony.
It is clear that a healthy body is a body in harmony, with all its organs working in harmony with each other. This is true of any organisation, village, town, city, nation, the world. (why stop there). Not only is there a need for harmony of the body, there is a need for harmony of the body, mind and spirit. On a different level there is a need for harmony between practical and spiritual values, (walking the spiritual path with practical feet). To create this harmony it is necessary for each part or organ, whatever it may be, to have a shared vision. Which brings us to the next abstract.
Abstract 4. Unity.
For many years scientists have been searching for a great unified theory (GUT). Here at The Libra Centre we believe that we have found such a theory. One unifying principle that supports all other natural laws and precepts. That overriding all encompassing principle is 'LOVE'.
With this philosophy in place we now stand on a sturdy foundation on which to build and develop. When ever we are faced with a new situation or are planning a new direction we simply need to ask, Does this fit into our philosophy.
It is not suggested that a philosophy of life would be easy to acquire, however, the above came to me in the time it took to write it down. It may well be then, that each and everyone of us has an innate, or in built philosophy just waiting to emerge when you are in the right mind set.
This principle of, philosophy first, is felt to be so important it is included in every Libra Guide.
What follows is designed to help you get more out of your Aura Photograph. Our interpretations are based on years of work and study, and a very developed intuition. There are basic interpretations for basic colours but it should be remembered that human beings are far too complex to have a basic colour. There is no clear dividing line between one colour and the next, they merge into each other with an infinite number of possibilities and combinations. That is not to say that you cannot interpret your own photograph, we would not set ourselves up as the only ones able to do anything, but you will need to develop these skills over a period of time, perhaps you already have developed your natural intuitive skills. For the reading of your own photograph use your inner guide while reading the text and be honest with yourself and open to impressions you receive.
Remember always, we are dealing with matters which are incredibly personal, the photographs need to be viewed as a two way street as they are not only informative as to your inner make up but are as well personal messages to you from, certainly your inner Self, and very often communications from outside ourselves in realms commonly referred to as spiritual.
While intended primarily to be used with an Aura Photograph it is felt that a greater understanding of auras in general can be gained from the reading and contemplation of this document.
Whilst some will no doubt disagree with some of the statements made within, I would ask that you try to bear in mind that none of it has been written lightly and without due consideration. It is recognised that the imparting of information, especially in printed format carries a heavy responsibility and the importance of this needs be born in mind by every author. That being said, I am certainly not infallible, I have made many mistakes in the past and have a few more to get through yet. However, if there are errors in this document they are unknown to me at this present time.
Should you hold different views than the ones found here then this is an opportunity for you to practice the expansion of viewpoint which is to add the two views together rather than refuting one in favour of another. If you think of it we are all unique individuals we have different backgrounds and different experiences. We perceive things differently because we have different perspectives, so it is only right that we have different views because we are all in a different place. By combining viewpoints we expand our perception and our understanding.
Consider the tale of the blind men and the elephant where each was right in their own way but only by combining their views would they be able to arrive at a fuller picture.
Other points to bear in mind are that knowledge of the Aura is continually growing and developing and further editions are of course envisioned but by hopefully sticking to the primal essences of the subject it can only be updated not made obsolete. You should not attempt to treat this document like a Lookup List, do not jump to the colour meanings section and study those colours which you find in your Aura, this will only lead to confusion and at best a superficial understanding.
This document is intended to be studied not glanced through or even read cover to cover straight through. By studied I mean carefully read and digested, not just once but several times. Despite its small size there is a lot of information crammed into these pages but like everything else you will get out of it, only what you put into it. I hope you enjoy your journey of discovery which you are about to take so take your time and savour all its delights.
It is perhaps one of the greatest fruits of our current scientific understanding that we are able to express metaphysical and mystical concepts in terms which are, if not the everyday language of the average man or woman in the street, are at least accessible to them with very little effort.
We should note that whatever is stated is only a model of the truth which works for the currently available concepts. That is that not only terminology changes over time but concepts, before our current electrical understanding the concept of lightening will have a distinctly different flavour than it holds today. However, we cannot say that the ancient understanding of lightening was incorrect or false.
Today, scientists are discovering more and more that the ancient truths which was until recently derided, do in fact agree with current understanding, if one allows a certain measure of poetical flavouring.
There is, however, a new crack in the ceiling, which is causing some concern. The extrapolations made by newer proponents of ancient wisdom has been diverted into pathways which are pulling away from the newly enlightened scientific community.
Which has brought about the situation where on the one hand, science is agreeing with ancient wisdom and trying to forge a impetus of development. With on the other hand, so called 'new age' leaders expounding a wisdom which they have received from ancient teachings, the very teachings which science is now becoming more and more comfortable with, yet finding it increasingly difficult to come to terms with current metaphysical and mystical teachings. It is disturbing to see that the long awaited reunion of science and spirit is being upset by people who seem to wish to hold on to the struggle. It seems that there are profits to be had in any war and it is these that are the opponents of peace.
Not to dwell overly on a negative, it is exciting the advances being made and further advances can confidently be expected now that a scientific exploration of the aura and other subjects are being brought to light and adopted within mainstream science by our most eminent scientific minds, although there are a few stalwarts who have yet to test the waters the pace quickens.
It should not be thought that the romance and mystery of the field will be lost, on the contrary a spiritual quest and a scientific quest can be just as exciting. The Grail will not be discover lying in the bottom of some test tube, no more than it will be discover in crystal lined mountain cave.
In truth we have all the answers, what remains to be discovered whether spiritually or scientifically are the right questions. Every new discovery, every new understanding, every new awakening, brings with it more questions because, every new discovery, understanding or awakening is simply the awareness of questions we had never thought to ask.
It is therefore my hope that this book will reveal to you some interesting questions and if this leads you on to an extended pathway then my aim has been met, for life and the living is not the destination but the journey. May your journey be long and enjoyable.
1. Cosmic Energy.
Figure 1. is a model of the energy flow found throughout the whole universe. It may not be right, but as a model, if it serves a purpose then it has its place. Starting at the top we have Unity, this is the highest level and links in to the un-manifest, the zone of the absolute, infinite potential and infinite possibility. For this to be manifest Unity has to become dual, how this happens is cause for much speculation but the bottom line is that Unity can only exist in an un-manifested state for to be manifest means that it IS which means that it has to be apart from something else or something which it IS NOT. If I say I am me then that implies I am not you so duality is a prerequisite for existence. The most basic duality is the next line of figure 1. Positive and negative, I could equally have said yin and yang or active and passive. When we have positive and negative we have a force between them which tries to bring them back to the un-manifest or Unity. This force is what drives everything that is manifest. Now if this was all there was to it then the manifest would not last very long. However, positive and negative can both be divide. The next line of the diagram explores this concept, these are the four elements, Fire and Air are both positive and Earth and Water are both negative. In this way we can have an building up or a breaking down positive and building up and a breaking down negative. You will note that I have denoted these differences with the symbol of the Sun and the symbol of the Moon. These have been associated with a zodiacal sign, to help you understand the concept. They are alternately the cardinal signs and the mutable signs. Very basically cardinal builds up or initiates and mutable breaks down or changes, ready for the renewal of the cardinal signs. For your further elucidation I have included the basic colours associated with these process. The following line on our descent of figure 1. is where the rest of the signs come in and these I have associated with the symbol of Saturn. The signs are the fixed signs because the are able to come between the cardinal and the mutable and provide a resistance for a while which means that we can now at last find something tangible. We are still dealing with energy though not matter, but as you probably already know, energy and matter are the same thing. The next line describes how these energies work in the less abstract world to which we are more accustomed, note please the use of the word gravity, this is not meant to imply the scientific rendering of the word it is simply a means for you to grasp the concept. The rest of the diagram is puts the rest in to a workable concept, that is one which can be explored in a very physical sense. So we have arrived from the completely abstract notion of un-manifest Unity to the familiar and tangible form of which we will learn more as we progress.
What is spirituality?
This is a question I have asked many times of many different people and I never received the same answer twice. It was for this reason that I decided to encapsulate a definition of spirituality that would serve as a reference point for anybody reading the works of The Libra Centre and or doing their own exploration.
Spirituality has as its root, the word spirit, and I believe this is the cause of much confusion, for there seems to be a major difference between the word spirit, and spirits. Clearly, if we associate spirituality with spirits then one could use the word spirit as a singular form of spirits. I do not intend to use this line of approach and so will use the term spirit which does not have a plural. When called upon to use the term spirits I will substitute for a more definitive term such as disincarnate soul or individual energy matrix.
The definitions which follow for spirit, spiritual and spirituality are not forced on anyone, if you have a different definition that is fine I only seek to offer our definition so there will be no misunderstandings or ambiguities. Whenever someone is discussing a subject such as this, it's as well to ask for a definition of terms so both parties know where the other is coming from.
Spirituality then, according to The Libra Centre is relationships. This definition then allows everyone a certain measure of spirituality because everyone has relationships. This may seem a mediocre definition for something so grand as spirituality, but if you bear with me, I am sure you will see how wonderfully it fits. It has long been my opinion that the simpler a thing is stated, the closer to the truth we are.
In the beginning, there was Unity, the Absolute, the Source, you can choose your own terminology. In order for this to become manifest or be known, Unity had to divide and became two. The two are the essence of male and female, yin and yang, positive and negative, active and passive, again, you can choose your own terminology. The important thing to understand though is that now we have two which came from the one and therefore there is a relationship between them. This division continued throughout all levels of existence into the material world which we see all around us. You can start to see now, I hope, the amount and order of relationships we have in our cosmos.
Let us now put it on a more personal level. What relationships are there in your life? This is a big question as I am sure you will realise once you start to explore this question. We can start with the obvious, family, friends, work-mates, lovers. Now move on, everything you can see, hear, touch, taste or smell, will represent some kind of relationship for you to explore. Next consider deeper levels, what is your relationship with the animal kingdom, plants and trees, rocks and crystals. What about the Earth itself, elementals, angels, fairies. You will have your own list. As you explore your relationships, how do they make you feel and react, you will come to realise that you are exploring your own spirituality. As you develop your spirituality, you will see that you are in fact developing relationships and opening up to new relationships.
So if spirituality is relationships, to be spiritual is to be aware of and open to relationships. In a very simplistic sense a spiritual person is one who has a deep understanding of their own relationships and has an expanded set of relationships.
What then of spirit? To answer this is best done with an experiment, and you can do it in your head. Imagine or take two magnets, when you bring them close together, we all know what will happen, they will either attract or repel. Hold the magnets close enough to feel the magnetic force, but do not let them touch or push too far away. The magnets have a relationship between them and you are now sensing the power or force of this relationship. There is a similar force acting between all relationships, whether, physical, emotional or mental and this force is spirit. Try to make time to do this experiment with actual magnets and do it while meditating, you may well be pleasantly surprised at the results.
Consider now, that this force this spirit is everywhere, around us and within us. This force is what holds atoms together and keeps them apart. It guides the planets and the stars it fuels the Sun and it surges through our bodies. The four fundamental forces which are known to science are, gravity, electromagnetic, strong nuclear and weak nuclear. All these forces are forces of attraction or repulsion which is simply negative attraction. So we can in a sense call a unified field, attraction. I choose to call it spirit, you can call it love.
a) An Emanation. An Atmosphere.
A quick glance at the dictionary will give you the definition both as an emanation and as an atmosphere. Both are relative in terms of this discussion. Though, atmosphere is more related to how it is experienced, for we all have experience of auras. We need not be trained or developed psychics to experience an aura, observe any que or line of people and you will notice the separation between them, mostly we like up to about three feet between us and the next person. When some one we do not know is closer than this we feel uncomfortable and have a feeling that they are invading our space, well, what is this space? this space and this feeling is in fact the mingling of auras. We can also sense none biological auras too, places have auras and these are often detected as a sense of calm or of disquiet. this can also be detected around certain individuals. As a matter of fact auras are everywhere, even in an empty room or deserted moor there is aura. Auras do not have clear, definite boundaries they mingle and mix and different auras can occupy the same space. Where ever we move we move through a sea of aura and we carry our own individual aura with us. So what is this stuff, aura?
b) Electro-magnetic Field.
The Aura is an electro-magnetic field, plain and simple. which makes it so susceptible to scientific study, the only problem currently observed is the problem of distinguishing one from another. Some say that there is no aura and what is detected is simply electro-magnetic interference. Unfortunately, according to current scientific thought there has to be an aura, they have formulated laws which state as much. Science has known for many years that flowing electric current generates a magnetic field. Also when a magnetic field vibrates it produces an electric current. It is therefore a two way street and so electricity and magnetism are linked hence the term electro-magnetic. Without going into to much detail, electricity is locked up in the structure of the atom, and very simply the atom is composed of a proton which is positive and an electron which is negative. The underlying motive of all nature is to become balanced, this is revealed in the structure of the atom which usually has the same number of electrons as it has protons so is called neutral if something happens and this balance is disturbed then things start to happen, the atom becomes completely obsessed with returning to its neutral state and this is the cause of electricity. Now if an electric current flows through a wire, a magnetic field is set up at right angles to it. This is basic physics and for those who are not already familiar with these principles then a little research with an open mind will pay dividends well beyond the effort. If we now consider that the human body also has these energy flows, it becomes clear that a magnetic field will develop around us. To take this a little further, the field thus produced bears a relationship to the electric flow, at its simplest the field around the body will be descriptive of the currents within and these will be descriptive of the processes which caused the currents. These things are breathing, digestion, regeneration, hormone movement and mental activity. All these things have been determined to cause some electrical disturbance or flow and hence all these things go to make up an electro-magnetic field around the body. These varying magnetic fields are part of what is known as the electro-magnetic spectrum.
c) Electro-magnetic Spectrum
This is, in its simplest terms a vibration or frequency scale, included in this scale are radio waves, micro waves, television, X rays and Gamma Rays, alternating current, inductive heat, and the visible spectrum which is made up of colour, All things in fact which travel at the speed of light. Deeply tied up with the study of the electro-magnetic spectrum is the study of inductance and resonance as is the study of harmonics. But I fear we may be getting to far from our discussion. Again further study will be rewarded, a scientific study will help with spiritual studies, particularly with the 'popular science' range now in book stores. There is a lot of science tied up with aura's but as the science is readily available elsewhere and I am not as qualified as others in that field I will let be what has already been done and leave you to decide how far you wish to go.
d) All things are Vibration.
The point I would like to make is that all things vibrate and when I say all, I mean all, were we to have continued our discussion along the lines of physics, we would traverse further into matter, through the molecular level, into the subatomic level and particle physics, through into the realms of super-string-theory, eventually arrived at the fact that the only existing things in the universe are made up of nothing more than vibrations which are caused by the principle of polarity which is caused by the unifying principle of attraction or love. Since all things are vibrations and we know how to manipulate vibrations with other vibrations this has caused all manner of debate and argument as to the validity and expansion of current thinking on what has been call vibrational medicine the seminal work to my mind being Richard Gerber's Vibrational Medicine. Contemplation on 'all things are vibrations' will lead us to an understanding of all manner of exciting possibilities. From an understanding of psychosomatic illness (and cures) to issues of magic and alchemy, all of which are beyond the scope of this booklet but which will be explored in other publications by The Libra Centre.
e) Life Force.
All that being said we need also to consider once more what was said earlier about electricity and magnetism in that it is a two way street, for not only does electricity produce magnetism but magnetism produces electricity. So can we not then say that the aura is not only caused by or a result of the life processes. But that the life processes are caused by the aura. In other words the aura is also the life force, the animating principle which is missing from the biological sciences. A biologist will easily list for you the elements and ingredients which make up the human body and the proportions thereof. However, with the closest attention to detail and the utmost precision while combining these elements the scientist will not produce a living being. It is this that leads me to suspect that the Aura or at least a certain part of it, is produced before the physical body. Science has now stated that the electromagnetic field is probably pre-existent. In that a matrix of information is needed to produce even the simple crystal. Matter is formed from condensed energy, the more complex the structure the more complex the energy information field required to support it. The spiritual ramifications of this are immense for if it is as stated pre-existent then the Aura must come before the body. Just take a moment to think on that! A body needs a subtle energy field to be present before it can be formed! Is this evidence of a pre-existent soul!
There is a lot more that can be said on these matters but most of it is readily available in scientific texts which I will leave up to you, dependent on your level of interest. As to the philosophical implications that too is for you to pursue, according to your inclination.
The important thing though is the application, that is, the study of scientific principles and applying them to spiritual principles and visa versa. This is what The Libra Centre means when it calls for the Advancement of Spiritual Science, which is slightly different than R. Stiener's work on Spiritual Science. The Libra Centre feels that currently the majority of the scientific community and the majority of the spiritual community are saying the same things, we are simply using different terminology, sometimes wilfully, sometimes through an unwillingness to listen, sometimes through genuine, pardonable, ignorance. What the world needs now is good interpreters and diplomats..
a) A carrier of information.
If we now see the aura as a matrix of vibrating energy we can quickly see the potential for interaction and information exchange. Radio waves have already been mention in the context of the electro-magnetic spectrum, so it is no great leap of the imagination to see the aura as a super information exchange system. It can be likened to the world wide web but it goes much further than that. Many scientist are now postulating that the nerves in the body are in fact too slow to account for some reaction times and therefore are looking for information systems based on radio, with different cells proposed as transmitters and receivers. They have however stopped short of calling it an Auric field. We are led to believe through our work at The Libra Centre that the Auric field is not only responsible for physiological communications but is at the heart of all manner of mental and psychic communications.
b) Different Levels.
There are different levels to the aura just as there are different levels to everything else.
c) Etheric. Body:
Detected via frequency scanner, 0 to 4 inches from the skin. This level of the aura affects and is affected by the physiological process in the body. and therefore is indicative of physical health and function.
d) Astral. Mind:
Detected via frequency scanner, 4 to 8 inches from the skin. At this level the aura is affecting and affected by the mental and emotional activity of the entity being measured. It is an indication of the psychological health and processes.
e) Causal. Soul:
Detected via imaging camera, through the meridian lines of the hands or feet. This is the level of the higher self or soul, it is related to deeper issues of mind body spirit and consequently is not affected by the everyday ups and downs we all experience. This Aura will change as you change at a deep core level. As your perspectives on life change so will the aura. As you pass through different stages in your development it will also change. It can thus be viewed as a progress report on spiritual or personal development.
d) A note about detection.
It is now felt by those at The Libra Centre that the detected and observed electro-magnetic field is probably a secondary effect of the Aura proper. While still providing realistic and reliable result there is still much work to be done. The theoretical work done on Torsion Fields is very interesting indeed and provides a veritable banquet of food for thought. Basically Torsion fields are thought to a) be a component of electromagnetic fields, b) be the source of electromagnetic fields, c) electromagnetic fields and torsion fields are both created from the same source, d) Torsion fields are Super electromagnetic fields. What ever the truth there is at the heart of it a very strong connection between torsion fields and electromagnetic fields. The main reasons for seeking an understanding of torsion fields is that they can travel faster than electromagnetic fields, electromagnetic waves travel at the speed of light, torsion fields travel at least 1,000,000,000 times faster than the speed of light and they can transmit and retain information much better than electromagnetic fields. To such an extent that many scientist believe that torsion fields hold the key to the science of Holograms, Replicators and Transporters, not to mention psycometry, telepathy, astral travel, apports etc. etc. Please remember at the time of writing the work on Torsion fields and Scalar fields, another subtle energy field under investigation, are almost completely theoretical.
e) The Unifying Principle.
Though we have discussed the different levels of the Aura and some say there are more, perhaps only sub levels of the ones just described. We need to always bear in mind that nothing works in isolation. All the levels are inter linked and it is not possible to consider the state of one with out reference to the others, to the state of the physical body, which can also be consider an Auric level, given the relationship between matter and energy. To environmental influences, relationships with others and of course higher spiritual connections. All factors play their part within the whole, a fact so sadly overlooked by many physicians.
f) I should point out that at times defects can arise within the system simple through a part of that system not adapting as well as the rest of the system. As change is a necessary function within the Cosmos as a whole, adaptation is a crucial role in maintaining not only a contented lifestyle but also a healthy body. In physical terms, as organs degenerate as we get older, the rest of the system adapts to this changing situation as not all organs degenerate at the same rate, the body is continually realigning itself to compensate, if one part of the system is unable to adapt then a defect is recorded in that part even though the originating change occurred in another part or organ. If the change in the originating organ is an unnatural change then this condition can go unnoticed while the physicians concern themselves with the part that simply failed to adapt. This same situation can occur when we are dealing with behavioural patterns as well energy patterns within the Aura as a whole.
g) When things go wrong.
A well known maxim is 'that which kills you cures you'. The two main effecting mechanisms within the Auric system and thereby within the Cosmos as a whole are entrainment and resonance. You may have heard of several ways in which things happen but ultimately it will be found that they all can be reduced to these two mechanisms. We could of course substitute different words but in the end it all boils down to the same thing. Whenever something is done it is done by virtue of the single First Force and there are only two ways of applying that force and they are by positive or negative means, male and female, yin and yang, active and passive. Because, in this discourse, we are discussing the Aura and frequencies we shall use the relevant terms applied to this field of study and these are Entrainment and Resonance. Both entrainment and resonance can be used to heal the Aura but it is through these mechanism also that things can go wrong.
h) Resonance.
Resonance is where two or more fields having the same or a harmonic frequency of each other combine in some way. This is found often in the workings of homeopathic remedies and dowsing. It is the principle behind many forms of sympathetic magic or positive thinking.
i) Entrainment.
Entrainment is where a strong field affects a weaker field. As happens when a person with a very strong Aura will have an effect on others in the immediate vicinity for good or bad depending on the state of the people involved. It happens very often when people spend a lot of time together, and they become similar in some way, most times in a mutual entrainment where both have strong and weak signals within their Auras and these after a period of time become evened out.
Through research carried out by The Libra Centre, it has been established that during a psychic reading the energy field of the psychic is much weaker that that of the client. This allows energy and information to flow from the client to the psychic. The same way that electricity flows down an energy gradient. This is not to say that the psychic is energised and the client depleted by the experience because freely flowing energy is instantly replaced by the cosmic life energy. So the client should feel cleansed by the experience, things are not so good for the psychic however, as the energies acquired needs to be released to ground to maintain good psychic health. This is something which is not known by all psychics unfortunately and subsequently engenders a lot of problems for them.
a) Keep it clean:
Auric cleansing is as necessary as bodily cleansing. The Libra Centre has developed its own range of oils for this purpose. The oils work by introducing a harmonising field into the aura and by capturing any in-harmonic frequencies which will be isolated out and dispersed with the aroma. There are other methods of cleaning the aura based on energy manipulation and transference. There is already adequate coverage of these methods available else where but it is as well to remember that regular cleaning is so much easier than trying to undo weeks of tangling. Think of brushing ones hair, if we did not do it for a week how much harder it is going to be.
b) Protect it:
Can be sealed with The Libra Centre's oils, but an active Aura is a healthy Aura. In working with auras it is very important to seal the aura after each treatment. All healing work should include an aura treatment as well as a physical and psychological treatment. In this way a holistic approach to health and healing can be adopted. Any health regime which does not look at all three levels is bound to fail, evidenced by recurring bouts of illness with the same or similar manifestations or symptoms.
Visualising a Golden glow around yourself will help to transmute any negativity which you find yourself in and will also encourage others to perceive you as none threatening when meeting for the first time.
c) Communicate with it:
Radiate positivity. Other people and particularly animals unconsciously read your aura, be careful what your aura is saying. Using mental imagery it is possible to become very aware of ones aura and be able to project out certain energies from it.
d) Sense Organ:
Awareness of the aura will bring endless possibilities. The aura brings us information from sources which the usual five senses cannot grasp. The Aura acts as a bridge between what is manifesting as physical and what is manifesting as spiritual.
e) Learn from it:
Watch for reactions within it to different people, events or objects. Follow your progress through personal or spiritual development.
d) Work with it:
Working with the Aura is best carried out if you can become conscious of your Aura and this is achieved best in the same way you become conscious of any other part of your being. If you think about your big toe you place your consciousness or part of it in your big toe, experience how you are more aware of a part of yourself than you was before, now move your attention to other obscure parts of your body, play around like this for a while and then turn your attention to outside your body and your Aura, the Aura is actually all through your body but it is best to start with the part that is extending outside your physical body at first. This may take practice but you will soon master it and be able to easily work in the manner described above.
6. Exercises to Experience Energy
The Energy Ball.
This exercise appears in most energy healing techniques as the basic standard means of experiencing human energy.
Hold your hands so that your palms are facing each other, about two inches apart. Take a few deep breaths to energise yourself, you can imagine breathing in the cosmic rays of life. The cosmic rays of life are energies which are around us all the time and are freely available to all. They represent a very important source of nutrition, which should be taken in to our bodies via the breath, the chakras and the skin. Feel this energy tingling the nostrils and the back of the throat.
Now focusing your attention on the space between your hands. Move your palms apart until there is about six inches between them, and then move them forward till they are almost touching. Continue moving them gently, apart and together, for a minute or two. Pay attention to the sensations between your hands. (If after a few minutes of this, you don't feel any sensations, try rubbing your hands together vigorously for a minute, and then repeating this experiment.)
Then move your hands till they are about 12" apart, and begin moving them slowly toward each other, focusing on the sensations. You may feel some tingling or warmth. You may find that at some point, it feels as if there is resistance; it may feel like "the air is thicker" or like there's outward pressure like magnets pushing each other away. This is because you have met the edge of the energy field emanating from the other palm. Gently move the hands a little closer together (about an inch). You may now feel tingling on the back of your hands. The energy field of each hand has passed through the other hand.
Move your hands to 12" apart again. Move them toward each other, until you feel resistance. Imagine this energy is a ball, and curl your fingers around the edges of it. Play with this, moving one palm up along the top side of the ball, while the other moves below, and so on, exploring how the energy feels. How soft or hard is the energy ball.
Next stage is to project energy out of your hands, place your consciousness in the palms of your hands and in your imagination push energy out. Try and sense the energy field again. How far apart are your hands now?
Playing with the energy ball often will increase your abilities to feel another persons energy. Once you are able to do this you will be able to sense differences within the energy field. Where is it strong where is it weak, are there any disturbances in it?
a) Seeing and Sensing:
Many people are able to see colours some sense colours. Like all vision or senses, what we experience is simply an interpretation based on what has gone before. However, we are certainly more likely to see or sense colours than we are to see vibrational rates.
b) Interpretation:
What we see may well be governed by what interpretation we place on it. Two psychics may see different colours but give the same reading. The presence of colour puts more meaning in our lives.
c) Frequency:
The subconscious mind works in picture mode that is why a colour is attached to a frequency because colours have meaning. Frequencies are easily detected and measured electronically but colours are more meaningful.
d) Harmonics:
All frequencies can become colours by a simple harmonic system. Whether detecting frequencies in the colour spectrum or not, all frequencies have an harmonic link to colour.
e) Energy:
Each colour or frequency has a energy value as well, this is the mainstay of quantum physics. It is this energy value which is only acceptable to certain chemical substances, called their quantum signature, which stands as the basis of colour therapy
e) Symbolism:
Colours are symbols, in that they hold a vast amount of meaning. When we deal in symbolism the subconscious mind comes into its own and more information is released. This is why we use human interpreters and have produced this booklet rather than using computer generated interpretations. A point you should bear in mind as you read further.
a) Polarity:
The colour spectrum has like everything else a polarity principle: Red is the electric or positive end and blue is the magnetic or negative end.
b) Sliding scale:
All the colours are somewhere in between. there are no distinct boundaries, each colour becomes the next colour. Because there are no clear distinctions there can be no distinct meanings for colours.
c) Good and Bad:
Like everything else there is a good and a bad aspect to each colour. No colour is better than any other colour. There is no good or bad aura, it is simply how you apply it.
d) Black and White:
Are not colours they are the poles of the colour ball. White is a radiance of all colours at once and as such is a representation of Unity in spirit. Black is the absorption of all colours and therefore represents Unity in matter.
(If investigating colours which are diffused with white or very pale, read also description for White. Conversely if colours are blackened see description for Black.)
e) The Colour Ball:
The colour ball is hard to describe and difficult to draw, it is perhaps best imagined. Most people have seen a colour wheel where the different colours run round the wheel from red through yellow and green into blue then back into red. We can take this wheel in our imagination and turn it into a ball the top of the ball will be white and the bottom black, the colours in the centre will become progressively lighter or darker as they move up the ball. Also we can imagine that as we enter inside the ball the colours become progressively duller, the centre is grey the outside is brilliance. An attempt to convey this has been made in the image above.
(Note: For those of you who are interested, a co-ordinate system can be devised to state where about on the colour ball a colour falls. I have included space for this in the colour descriptions if you wish to use it, but I have left it blank because you may wish to use your own system and as I have said it is best to visualise it.)
RED.
This is the electric end of the spectrum, it can be viewed as dynamic, outward and extending. This is the feature of all the colours in the red range whether closer to the purple as in magenta or the yellow as in orange on one axis or closer to the black (burgundy) or white (pink) on the other axis.
BLUE.
This is the magnetic end of the spectrum, it can be viewed as passive, inward and receding.
This is a feature of all the colours in the blue range whether closer to the red as in purple or the green as in turquoise. Or close to black as in indigo or closer to white as in sky blue.
YELLOW/GREEN.
This is the central range and so has much to do with movement the yellow side would be mental movement while the green side would be emotional movement. This is a feature of all the yellow/green range whether closer to the reds in gold or closer to the blues as in sea green. Or close to the black as in saffron or olive or closer to white as in cream or mint.
Deep Red.
a) Place in the sphere: __________
b) Purpose: Survival.
c) Good Points: The instincts are highly developed, able, hard working and hard wearing. Seeks out and provides security for self and family. Reliable, generous and caring. Background identity issues, discovering self and own worth.
d) Bad Points: Materialistic, may not see past the tangible. Associates self-worth with possessions, property, money in bank.
e) Working with: Those in need of Deep Red would be frivolous with money. Lacking an anchor to reality. Those with an abundance of Deep Red will need to examine their motivations and where they have placed their anchor, matter is not as solid and reliable as you may think. To build a temple is to manifest Deep Red. To recognise, understand and honour our material existence is to manifest Deep Red.
f) Spiritual Progress: In search of meaning in their life to maybe at a time of personal success but feeling more of a let down. To start opening to their own spiritual journey.
Bright Red.
a) Place in sphere: __________
b) Purpose: Action.
c) Good Points: Dynamic, an achiever, leadership qualities. Eager to help and please. Will appear at times of great change or need. Background identity issues, discovering self and purpose.
d) Bad Points: Easily put up on, overly sensitive. Never giving themselves a break. Susceptible to frustration. Can lose control. Search for identity connected to things they do or achieve.
e) Working with: Those in need of red lack motivation and energy. Those with an abundance of Red will be actively engaged in life and or be experiencing a dynamic change or movement. Red's association with anger, comes mainly from the frustrations which are inevitable with this type of lifestyle or temporary disruption. The associations with passion are derived from the intensity in which these people life their lives, how that intensity is expressed is up to the individual.
f) Spiritual Progress: Healing within a Spiritual Red as a energy of antibiotic charge to a person's system. This can indicate an ability to a specific healing course work within the Red system, Reiki, Reflexlogy, Indian Head Massages and Accupressure to name a few.
Pink.
a) Place in sphere: __________
b) Purpose: Union.
c) Good Points: Sensual, enjoys life. Still within the reds but high up closer to white giving the longing to be a part of something greater, ultimately union with the divine, can be manifesting as physical love. Because of the higher position on the sphere can also demonstrate a greater clarity of vision and foresight.
d) Bad Points: Pink can be too open and fragile causing them to be easily hurt, their desire for union can leave them unprotected and vulnerable to control by others.
e) Working with: People who need the Pink ray are people who have become hardened and insensitive. Those with an abundance of Pink live life with the same intensity as Red but seek further, outside themselves for stimulus they range from being too overpowering and tactile to being too open and sensitive to external influences. They are all likely to be buffeted by the tides of life.
f) Spiritual Progress: To be aware someone is sending a person unconditional love back to them and they need to love unconditionally and their path is life goes a lot easier.
a) Place in sphere: __________
b) Purpose: Self.
c) Good Points: Had enough and now it is your time. Enough of sacrificing but now to start making time for you. It is your life and only you can live it.
d) Bad Points: Feeling guilty and still ignoring your own happiness. Being enslaved and disempowered. Be careful not to live your life through others.
e) Working With: Time for you to reorganise that you can put your own needs in the mix - Stop always placing yourself last on the list. Self awareness and self worth are not being selfishness or greedy but life enhancing and effective forms of self healing.
f) Spiritual Progress: Being more caring about themselves will be there for others in a better way and that the universe is sending a message about that.
a) Place in sphere: __________
b) Purpose: Creativity.
c) Good Points: Creative, fresh, problem solver. Orange is able to see things from a different or many angles. There is still the red dynamic but now with the mental yellow, giving dynamic intelligence. Found very often in association with artist, musicians, writers, but creativity can be expressed in many ways.
d) Bad Points: Can seem or feel like a misfit.
e) Working with: To induce regrowth and healing. For people in need of a fresh perspective and those who are bored or apathetic. People with an abundance of Orange are, because of their problem solving abilities, likely to find themselves in situations where they are expected to help those around them, however, the Orange is no doormat and will know when to say no, to the sometimes intense irritation of those who seek them out. This leads very often to the helpful Orange being totally misunderstood. Their way of seeing things in a different light can also produce some incongruous behaviour.
f) Spiritual Progress: To have more childlike Joy in their lives to stop and smell the flowers and to play.
Gold.
a) Place in sphere: __________
b) Purpose: Wisdom.
c) Good Points: An inner knowing, profound knowledge. Less dynamic than the orange, more time spent in contemplation.
d) Bad Points: At odds with established authority or thinking. May appear or be slow to act.
e) Working with: For protection, good to imagine a golden sphere around self or work area. Those with an abundance of Gold are in need of some place to shine.
f) Spiritual Progress: As all colours heal the gold is the awareness of the healing force as well as passing knowledge out to help others which is a form of healing and balance.
a) Place in sphere: __________
b) Purpose: Knowledge.
c) Good Points: No bodies fool, healthy caution. Like to and does know where they stand. May be academically qualified but not necessarily so.
d) Bad Points: Too academic and rigid. Could suffer from narrowness of vision, and nervousness.
e) Working with: To strengthen the mind, alertness. A lot of Yellow is like the Sun, can be cheery and uplifting, but too much can be damaging. Like the Sun these people need to have a metaphoric night and find time for themselves to relax.
f) Spiritual Progress: Working at filtering all the information and having restraint in exposing precious spiritual thinking to sceptics.
(Note: It is not my intention to stoop to criticism but in all fairness I need to point out that some film used in Auric Cameras is not suitable because of electron excitation of the Yellow layer of the film, if this happens it can produce a huge Yellow blob on the image and cannot be consider as part of the Aura. The Libra Centre does not use this film but others are perhaps unaware of this phenomenon.)
Lime.
a) Place in sphere: __________
b) Purpose: Understanding
c) Good Points: Growth, youthful. Balance between thought and feeling. Opportunity for spiritual growth.
d) Bad Points: Can be superficial. Does not inspire confidence. Sitting on the fence.
e) Working with: To promote new growth. To find balance. New beginnings. Balancing opposing forces within is a prerequisite for further development. It is the uniting of opposites which is the creative force of the cosmos. Therefore there is tremendous potential in this Yellow/Green. To illustrate the point, if you ask a Yellow how they feel they will tell you what they think, if you ask a Green what they think they will tell you how they feel with Lime there are no such hang-ups. They are therefore free to move forward to the next stage. It is because of this that Lime is thought to be the colour of initiation, being in the middle it is able to break free from the cycle.
f) Spiritual Progress: Opening to the Greater Outlook of the Divine Source and allowing that to have a natural progression of development.
a) Place in sphere: __________
b) Purpose: Faith.
c) Good Points: Sensitive to their feelings and the feelings of others, very sympathetic therefore giving healing abilities.
d) Bad Points: Emotional stress, too sensitive, too open.
e) Working with: To restore harmony. Green is the colour of the heart so those with an abundance of this colour may well wear their heart on the outside. Green is also the colour of Nature where we find all our healing herb's. Therefore a Green Aura is the Aura of a Natural Healer.
f) Spiritual Progress: Keeping the flow coming in and working with these spiritual growths so when there is something needed to be say it is as well as doing what is needed to be done.
(Note: Difference between balance and harmony. Balance is having equal amounts. Harmony is having correct amounts.)
a) Place in sphere: __________
b) Purpose: Connection.
c) Good Points: The ability to listen and empathise. The counsellor, healing through speech. Understanding feelings and verbalising feelings.
d) Bad Points: Too analytical, can spend too much time discussing and dwelling on a subject.
e) Working with: For those who feel unconnected and isolated. This combination of Green and Blue is communication without speech it is a very profound sense of being and belonging where silence is loud with feeling.
f) Spiritual Progress: The balance between the physical and spiritual sides of development sometimes more comfortable with natural surrounding, animals and people in need. Will also need to be aware of cycles within their own selves connected to the seasons.
Blue.
a) Place in sphere: __________
b) Purpose: Communication.
c) Good Points: Great talkers and can get their opinions and ideas across. Good at listening and observing. Strong sense of what is right. They are transmitters and can transmit anything from ideas and inspiration to healing and love.
d) Bad Points: Can become locked into internal debate. Can be dogmatic and whilst appearing to listen and learn they have great difficulty in changing course. And in taking action for themselves.
e) Working with: People in need of blue are people who need to look before they leap and find time for inner communication or communion. The Blues are the seekers and the wanderers they find great pleasure in life and letting life happen. Like rivers they follow their course, sometimes swiftly sometimes gently. It may be necessary for the cosmos to dam up their lives in order to initiate change or to force them to spread their nourishment farther a field.
f) Spiritual Progress: Enjoyment through bringing in others into the circle, a guide that offers what is out there to discover. Sometimes in great need of being by themselves to reconnect to the Divine
Navy.
a) Place in sphere: __________
b) Purpose: Search
c) Good Points: As the blue becomes deeper so to does the communication. These people have many lines of communication open at the same time. They have the ability whether they use it or not for great depths of intuition, can be called psychic.
d) Bad Points: From this point on all need to ensure a good earth connection, but the navy type need discrimination to learn from where they are gathering their impressions.
e) Working with: For those in need of a deeper level of understanding and meaning to their life. The abundance of Navy found in an Aura is an indication of a profound seeker after truth, life is a quest where all experience should be absorbed and learnt from. Whereas Blue was a river, Navy is, as its name implies a ship on the waters.
f) Spiritual Progress: To be on a quest and using the powers of discernment to what they are actually receiving and what is wishful thinking. Always striving to do better and paring away the impasses.
a) Place in sphere: __________
b) Purpose: Profundity.
c) Good Points: This is the realm of the clairvoyant, whether it is accepted or not. It is the ability to receive information from the psychic realms. Being open, Navy has a tendency to seek out with psychic tentacles, indigo is more chalice like.
d) Bad Points: There is a need to release or can become psychically water logged.
e) Working with: For psychic development and to achieve a deeper sense of ones place in the cosmos. This can sometimes be problematic in that the people with an abundance of Indigo are subject to a lot of impressions but they need a way of sorting and understanding them which they may not have this can lead to a lot of confusion and a subsequent rejection of a very special gift.
f) Spiritual Progress: Acceptance in what is being offered and to believe and trust in the communication from the guides and that no matter who a person is, that they are worthy of this gift and won't mess it up.
a) Place in sphere: __________
b) Purpose: Spirituality.
c) Good Points: Those with this colour have a definite spirituality to their lives and see the connections between things. They have a believe system in place which sustains them and they have the ability to apply it to their everyday lives.
d) Bad Points: There is always a tendency to pay more attention to the higher chakra's at the expense of the lower ones.
e) Working with: Develops a sense of wonder and awe about the world around them. A lot of Purple in an Aura indicates that they may be appalled at the functions of the lower chakras and deny themselves a lot of the wonders of Gods Creation. They may feel disinclined to venture outside of what feels comfortable and safe.
f) Spiritual Progress: To enable others to also find the empowerment of their own self development. To change what they can and let go of what can not be change. This is a Spiritual Teacher aura.
a) Place in the sphere:
b) Purpose: Natural Spirituality.
c) Good Points: This seems to be a new colour coming into those people that develop their own belief system with the Purple but transcends the greater White infusion to have a more gentle natural connection with the Source.
d) Bad Points: They maybe too easy going and not stand up for their own inner truths.
e) Working with: There is a real phase in a person's spiritual development and they need to focus on the information they are receiving. This phase seems to allow the person more control in what they want as the next stage. So use it.
Spiritual Progress: Embrace the wholeness that is coming in and allow it to gently show and reveal what the unlimited gifts there is in the Universe and beyond.
Deep Purple.
a) Place in sphere: __________
b) Purpose: Loss of self.
c) Good Points: The deep purple people act from a centre which is outside of the self and have a keen sense of unconditional love.
d) Bad Points: These are the dreamy, head in the clouds type, who need to learn to walk the spiritual path with practical feet.
e) Working with: For those who attach too many conditions to love and need to sometimes step outside of self. The deeper the purple the more dynamic their spirituality and hold greater store by their strong sense of Spirit. Sometimes they can be difficult to engage with as they are usually somewhere else, off on another plain perhaps or hearing a different beat.
f) Spiritual Progress: Incredible link to the Higher Source so much so that there is a need to harness this into a physical application through speaking, writing or otherwise bringing out this information.
a) Place in sphere: __________
b) Purpose: Absorption
c) Good Points: Mediumistic. As we move back into the red range we find a more dynamic spirituality. These people can part the veil that separates this world from the next.
d) Bad Points: Can be assailed with unwanted entities or strong personalities.
e) Working with: No body needs magenta. While strong, these people need it. If there is a lot of Magenta in the Aura the person is almost certainly acting as a bridge or link with spiritual realities beyond the normal ken. Once these people accept their role as link or channel the loss of the self can be quite disturbing particularly to close friends and family.
f) Spiritual Progress: Can be a breakthrough that has not quite been attain more of preparing a person for the realisation to come. Reaching a plateau of development but needing to also start the whole process off again but in the next level
The Poles
White & colours mixed with white.
a) Place on sphere: Top Pole.
b) Purpose: Transcendence.
c) Good Points: Acceptance, letting go, being carried by a greater power. Thinking and acting in accord with the greater good. All colours that are tinged with white have a more profound or deep, all encompassing nature.
d) Bad Points: Sterile, washed out, distancing and diffused. May feel disconnected to the mundane.
e) Working with: Cleansing and clarifying. When mixed with other colours it will raise the vibrations to a higher level.
f) Spiritual Progress: To come to an understand of the Divine and work with this in a practical manner. To put into practice what you feel the Truth is.
Black & colours mixed with black.
a) Place on sphere: Bottom Pole.
b) Purpose: Materialisation.
c) Good Points: Revealing, realising, testing and awareness. When mixed with other colours it will bring their natures in to a more concrete form. Can be seen as a warning of psychosomatic illnesses which can then be rectified.
d) Bad Points: May be an indication that previous and or current psychological or emotional trauma is concretised into a physical form and creating biological stresses.
e) Working with: DO NOT WORK WITH BLACK.
f) Spiritual Progress: Only working with a small amount of black can be enlightening and a awareness of the Source but too much can make that connection feel lost or cut off.
9. Step by Step Interpretation.
a) Position.
This is important as in a generalised way the left receives from the environment or can represent a new development. The right, can be said to be the way we respond to our environment, our coping mechanism, or what we give out. Just above the head represents our mental expression, higher above the head our spiritual expression.
b) Clarity.
The clarity of the colours is important because this can be a reflection of how at ease with our higher self we are. Someone who is fighting the higher self will have a muddy, dirty looking aura. A bright crisp aura belongs to someone who knows, is in touch and is happy with the higher self. We have also seen that sometimes when new stages are in development shows up above the head. There can be two colours in competition so there is a mixture and it doesn't look pretty, we say to think of this as a period of renovations.
c) Defects.
There can be holes or breaks in the aura and these can represent problems within the persons life which is damaging to the aura. These need careful consideration with further investigation preferable with an experienced holistic practitioner.
The unexplained.
Sometimes, perhaps because of the nature of the work we do, things happen that are not part of the technology. It is as if the cosmos uses this media to pass on information. Most commonly found instances are listed below.
a) Entities.
There are several of these which often appear in the aura. The most common is a guide, found in the top left of the aura. The strength and colour of this is revealing about ones path and purpose in life. At times when big changes are called for, or when the personality is not listening. There appear smaller blobs of colour on the top right these I liken to specialists, called in by the guide to assist at times of need. Again the strength and colour need to be examined. Distinct spots can often be seen elsewhere in the aura, these are usually friendly spirits wishing to assist and are often departed loved ones. There are also occasionally specks of light, these can be likened to little imps, fairies or sprites they are not usually serious and tend to just add a bit of fun in to life.
b) Channels.
Often we find straight lines rising from the head, straight off the top of the photograph this is an indication that the subject is very connected to spiritual forces whether through healing or channeling information.
c) Other Weird Stuff.
Sometimes things can be seen in the aura, symbols, objects, faces, animals. This is simply a message for you which you will understand or will do shortly. They are for you to interpret and you alone. Another thing that happens is the transfiguration of the face. I have never seen this where the person did not know the face, but it is not something to concern yourself with it does not mean you are possessed it is simply a message provided in a rather dramatic way.
a) Form an overall impression. Is the picture bright and clear, indicating a good and ready acceptance of the higher self and the issues raised. Is it muddy or murky indicating that the subject is not listening or working with the higher self. Do the colours appear opaque or translucent, the more opaque the more focused on the material world, the more translucent the more focused on the spiritual world.
b) Study the left side of the aura covering the left shoulder. This is the area where new developments happen. This can also reveal the way in which the subject views the world or what they expect from the world. This area is important in understanding how our perceptions are affecting our development. This is where projections happen, what we expect is what we see. Taking an objective look at the way we perceive the world can be helpful in making sense or what is happening to us from the outside. Maybe we called it to us.
c) By looking at the right of the aura covering the right shoulder we can gain an insight into how the subject is likely to react to the world, what they give to the world, what is there usual coping mechanism. We all have innate ways of dealing with and confronting life these are very often laid down from early childhood, but they can change and are seen as going through phases similar to the Moon. Is this coping mechanism suitable for us right now.
d) Balance the two areas discussed above, are they harmonious colours, are they both the same strength or clarity, are they realistic views and reactions given the current circumstances.
e) Look at the area above the head this is the area of thoughts and mental activity. How does this blend with the colours on the left and right. This will give us an idea of how the mind is functioning with the whole, is it helping or hindering.
f) What colours are seen over the face and throat these represent special talents and abilities the subject is able to draw on in an unconscious way. These are gifts which are helping you interact with the world.
g) Look at the area below the throat, if there is a large bright colour here the subject is giving to and participating with the world in a big way. If it is small and dull the subject is withdrawing from the world possibly licking wounds.
h) Now turn your attention to the top of the aura, higher above the head, this area represents the subjects spiritual views and aspirations. How does this match with the rest of the photograph. Is it fully formed? Is it whole or segmented? Is there a gap between this and the mental area.
i) High up on the left side, is there a blob of colour. The colour here is indicative of where the soul wants you to proceed and what you next need to develop. This is very often termed your Birth Guide. Softly gaze at this and note any impressions or messages you receive. If there is no noticeable blob of colour here, after you have studied carefully with a good light, this is probably because you are working well with your soul energies and there is no need at this time or there is no distinction to be made.
j) Look for other entities and anomalies as mentioned above, use your intuition and your imagination to spot these, like looking for images in flames or clouds.
k) Meditate on the photograph, place it in different lights, look at it with defocused eyes. We all have a certain amount of intuition, we owe it to ourselves to use it. Make a note of the impressions you receive no matter how fantastic they may at first appear.
l) Spiritual side of colours as with your orbs and your Birth guide can indicate not only a practical side of information with these colours but also taking a look at the energies as a higher connections. As with any application of development sometimes we can only receive what we need to learn and not what we want. As well, we are to quick to be too judgmental on our faults so see the positive side then what you need to work on.
m) Look at the colours in detail using the above colour meanings try to relate this to real life circumstances. How are you using the colour energies which are available to you. Is there anything you wish to change, how might you find resources to help you based on the predominate colours. Look for slight tints of colour what fine detail are these adding to the overall theme. Remember there are an infinity range of colours, incorporate the meanings of the colour which it is moving towards. If it is Red how close to Orange is it, how close to the white pole or the black pole, is it bright and crisp or muddied.
n) Repeat the process again and again until you have a complete inner understanding about the photograph and your self. Write your impressions down in your secret diary.
Examples of analysing photographs using the colour guide and the step by step interpretation. While the following examples are very stunted interpretations you should be able to fill out with a lot more detail using your own photograph because you will be making it real to you. In an analysis done by us we make it real by interacting with the client and of course from our own intuition. The numbers refer to the steps outlined in the process.
(1) Overall impression, bright and clear, in touch with self. Semi-translucent, happy with material or spiritual issues.
(2) Purple, with a touch of magenta, sees the world with open eyes, unconditional, not prone to pre judgement. But intuition is high.
(3) Blue, turquoise with white, a good talker, understanding and honest.
(4) Balance, while different they are congruent and will work well.
(5) In the mental region there is a lot of internal communication, a deep thinker. So what comes in is digested well and what goes out is considered and thoughtful.
(6) Purple over the face gives a finely tuned intuition.
(7) Orange over the mouth and throat show an entertaining and original commitment to others.
(8) Little distinction between mental and spiritual regions therefore spirituality is a way of life not a department of life.
(9) Purple and green, this person may wish to consider the healing of those undergoing a spiritual crisis.
(1) Sharp, clear energy patterns but more opaque focus on the here and now.
(2) This has the appearance of a newer energy due to it standing out crisper. Communication which here means that she is open to insights with the white she wishes for truth not falsity.
(3) Red through orange and into gold, this would indicate a dynamic, creative response with an expression of wisdom.
(4) The left has a passivity while the right is active this will work well and indicates movement.
(5) Deep blue and purple bringing in the intuitive processes. This will aid the left but may hinder the expression on the right.
(6) Magenta moving to red with a gold tint. Gifts of psychism mixed with introspection, dull around mouth shows the introspection resulting in a holding back.
(7) A slight weakness of colouration here showing not a total withdrawal but a powering down.
(8) Again a good integration of consciousness.
(9) Gold, orange, magenta are also seen on the right side expression so working well with soul energies. Creativity and originality are strong forces in this person's live as is a strong connection to energies outside of self.
(1) Mixture, both translucent and opaque, both clear and dull. Segmented regions.
(2) Magenta overlaid with gold. Trying to understand and come to terms with the impressions received.
(3) Turquoise a good listener and empathiser but more of a rationality than green.
(4) Displacement of thought patterns difficulty adjusting to changes.
(5) Opposite to above example, this is dynamic in while passive out. The passive blues are old energies while the new energies coming in are causing disruption to the system.
(6) There is a natural comfortable intuition which has help guide them for a long time.
(7) Comfortable within own world but still shining.
(8) Deeper blue wanting more psychic development but there is also a longing for the old and comfortable thought patterns.
(9) The guide energies are well integrated however it can be seen that there is a pink energy signal coming from this region indicating a feeling that all is right with the scheme of things.
Change can be uncomfortable.
The Purple Moment.
This is a common photo type which we have given the name 'that purple moment'. It is window which we are all privilaged to gaze through at different times in our lives. As we get older it seems we spend a lot of time gazing through it as we develop a different outlook and a more philosophical view of life. It can be thought of as a very high form of spiritual development and in deed in many cases it is just that. However, it is not always experienced as such. If it apears after many years of psychic development it is a very good sign that things are progressing well. If however, it appears with no apparent purposful development it can feel rather disorientated, it can feel very disconected and we have seen it in many cases of depression. Whatever the case it is a window of opportunity and anyone experiencing it has the opportunity for some very profound insights. It is one of those things that if you are looking for it it may never arrive but turn you back and there it is. I would imagine that the reason it is felt so differently by different people is because it has such an otherworldly sense to it. If it is what you want then great, if it is not your cup of tea, then hang on and it will pass. If you have grown into it naturally and have gotten used to it then it probably means nothing at all.
Red Auras
As an example of how Aura's change over time and to give greater clarity to the analysing of Red Aura's, which seem to bother some people, perhaps because of preconceived ideas about the colour. Here are the photograph's of one gentleman over the course of a year working upon himself. He kindly agreed to allow his analysis to be reproduced here.
Photograph One
"The photograph shows a predominance of deep red, in fact it shows very little else which is interesting in itself. Deep red is the colour of the Base Chakra which is concerned with our deepest level of identity. This question of identity is a bridge we cross many times throughout our lives. The Base Chakra is also about survival issues, but the essence is one of identity, because survival means feeling secure and security can only be found with a knowledge of who we are. This is where we find our true power and sense of being. Not until we achieve this can we truly move forward for this is our base our thrust block from which we reach to the stars. The lessons of the Base are hard indeed for many have fallen and the way is annexed with a host of dead ends and blind alleys. Most turn down the road of material wealth, or the lane of earthly power. Brave is the man who can keep to the narrow path of enlightenment."
"There is some darkness in the Aura which would suggest some one who is being pulled at from many directions, demands which you feel obligated to fulfil but which are in fact draining your strength. Also the amount of energy over your face and the lack of energy below would suggest some one who is hanging in there by sheer force of will. The almost motley appearance of the red energy tells me that there are other colours behind the red but that the red has overpowered them. This means that while there may be a lot more to you than red, the red is by far the major issue which you need to deal with right now. Which brings me to the question of how you arrived at this point in your life. Many times we find that people with this energy signature have just or are now experiencing a crisis of some kind, this is because not many willingly explore the Base Chakra. There is a commonality through all the situations though and that is that at the end of it they all emerge with a profound sense of self which equips them for the next stage of their journey through live. Sometimes, part of this process is an overwhelming desire, conscious or otherwise to give to others, to throw themselves into other peoples problems so as not to have to face the true crisis which is their own identity. As mentioned above some seek identity in material possessions or power others are forced into it by the loss of someone or something which they identified with."
"We see a lot of predominantly red Aura's because the question of who we are is the most fundamental human quest. Over the temple at Delphi was the annunciation "Man knoweth thyself"."
"Red can be a difficult colour to work with but it is a display of strength and courage which is comforting in times of trouble. However, the answer is in the opposite qualities of calm and tranquillity, meditation is a place where you can explore the realms of self and identity. This is felt by many to be a difficult thing to do as the mind is often so active. The secret is faith, in letting go just for a few moments, faith is the opposite of courage, allow yourself to let go. One of my favourite quotes is "Lord let me face the truth about myself no matter how beautiful it is"."
Photograph Two 12 months later.
"Now to start with it is always useful to have older photographs to see the changes which have taken place and the direction you are moving in. We can see at first glance that things are quite literally getting brighter. It is as though you are coming out of the darkness and into the light. There are still some issues to be worked through but you have come a long way in 12 months. Making changes at the base level is always difficult and gets harder as we get older as it is like trying to alter the foundations after the house has been built."
"You are learning a lot from the world around you but as yet you are not fully expressing it. Your perceptions both mentally and spiritually are developing rapidly but for some reason perhaps through circumstances perhaps through lack of confidence you are failing to manifest these perceptions fully into your life. This is a common problem with this type of Aura because you will have a tendency to keep moving the goal posts, forever setting higher and higher standards for yourself so you are constantly one step behind no matter how much you achieve. I am not saying this is a bad thing but you should sometimes cut yourself some slack and give your self a break. It is a good idea to revue what you have done rather than looking at what you have still got to do. No matter how far you progress you will always have further to go but as you climb life's mountain stop occasionally, turn around and admire the view."
"As well as getting brighter and less fractured the colour is moving closer to the orange side which is introducing creativity, which means that you will start to recognise your own uniqueness and that you too have something to offer. remember as you process information it changes because it has passed through your own uniqueness and you are placing your own stamp on it. This is how it is supposed to be and represents growth and development. If you receive information and do not add your own slant too it that information has seen no growth and will have fallen on stony ground. From your current photograph I would say that you have reached a stage where you are processing well but are reluctant to let it out again. Remember you will never have all the answers so you cannot wait, you have to use what you have now."
"Thank you for sharing your journey with me."
I hope you can see now that red is not a demon, and that if you fall into the category of those how say "I always get red" there is still plenty to learn.
The Libra Method.
These notes are provided in the hope that you will expand your personal awareness and consequently that life's journey be more fulfilling. Should you require further assistance consider enrolling for the Libra Method. At The Libra Centre we hold to the adage of 'treat the person not the illness', this means of course, that what is required is, as each person is unique, a unique treatment package tailored to each individual. This can be many things or one thing, but always it will be agreed with the client before hand. Also treatments will be reviewed and monitored throughout using the very latest Aura Investigation Techniques. We are all made of the same stuff it is true but it is your unique balance of energies which makes you an individual. Illness is simply an imbalance or an inability to maintain balance within your complete system. The Libra Method discovers first your optimum balance and then helps you to retain and maintain your own energy balance. Wellness is a sense of balance throughout our entire system, physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual. When all these are balanced and in harmony a Centering takes place which allows you to maintain balance in an ever changing world. This brings not only better health on all levels but an increase in your ability to recognize and attain your true potential. If you feel that any part of your system, physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, is out of balance or not in harmony with the rest then the Libra Method may be what you have been looking for. This is usually a multiple session technique and you may be required to carry out exercises at home or make changes to your environment or daily routine. The initial consultation is free.
